Final Project Deliverables

Hello Aquaponics Community!

We are going to start this thread of the blog in order to share our final project deliverables with you all. This was a large portion of our project and we are very proud to share them with you!

Our final deliverables produced for the Hanns Seidel Foundation were: three fact sheets, a prototype design, a prototype manual infographic and two videos. These deliverables are a culmination of everything we have learned throughout this project. We were able to learn a lot of new skills throughout the process of producing them and hopefully that shows. All of the information was found through research, guidance by our sponsors and conversations with people active in the aquaponics community. In the future, all of these materials will be able to be found at https://www.thinknamibia.org.na/. We will be making blog posts about each deliverable and provide you with the information from the materials. We hope that these are something fun to look at and give you a little further insight into everything we have been working on.

At the end of the day, we hope these materials not only help all of you following the Aquaponic Chronicles, but also the Namibian community. These materials are going to go forward in aiding The Hanns Seidel Foundation to help Namibian people learn more about the wonderful sustainable agricultural systems that can be constructed. Both hydroponics and aquaponics are tools that can be used in order to help with the food security of the average Namibian person. Even though we were unable to go to Namibia, we hope that our project can help the community going forward. The Hanns Seidel foundation still plans on continuing the project and building the prototype system discussed in a local school.

With that said, enjoy this thread and have fun perusing our deliverable!
